The swine flu incubation period was said to be just 24 to 48 hours, but it can range
from a day to five days. In most cases in the US the swine flu ranged from two to seven
days. The exact swine flu incubation period is still not known as it varies in different
cases and places. But it is important to be vigilant and keep a strict eye on the
symptoms for a week and then for around 10 days to be really safe.
The symptoms to look out for during the incubation period are similar to the regular
influenza virus: fever, cough, body ache, headache, sore throat, fatigue, vomiting,
diarrhea and breathing disorders. This virus spreads from one infected person to
another, through sneezing and coughing. The swine flu virus lives on surfaces so one
can get it by touching an infected surface and then touching one’s nose, eyes or
